Today, I filmed the University of Denver hockey team as they faced against Minnesota Duluth in a game that couldn’t have been more intense. The matchup went into overtime locked at 0–0, and the tension in the arena was unreal. Every shift mattered, every save felt massive, and the energy only kept building until Denver finally scored the game-winning goal to take a 1–0 victory. Being able to document a game that dramatic from behind the camera was an incredible experience.

Following the game, I quickly turned around a highlight of the goal for the DU socials including Instagram, focusing on the emotion, pace, and clutch moment that defined the night. Working fast under pressure pushed me to be decisive in both shot selection and editing, making sure the final highlight matched the intensity of the game itself. Nights like this are a reminder of why I love filming live sports—unpredictable, high-stakes moments that turn into powerful visual stories.
