Yesterday, I filmed the University of Denver lacrosse team as they took on Cleveland State in the first game of the season, and it was an incredibly fun one to be a part of. The energy started early, with Denver coming out strong and setting the tone right away. From nonstop action to big celebrations, the game was full of moments that made it exciting to capture, especially with Denver completely controlling the pace and dominating throughout.
I turned around a pregame hype video for Instagram to build excitement ahead of faceoff, and followed it up with a full recap video for the Denver Mens Lacrosse Instagram. Working on both pieces in real time pushed me to stay efficient and creative, making sure each edit matched the fast pace and intensity of the game. Being part of the first game of the season made the experience even more rewarding, and it was a great way to kick off another year of filming lacrosse.
